BreastScreen Mobile Van

The BreastScreen mobile unit will be arriving in Rhodes, providing FREE screening mammograms (breast x-rays) for the early detection of breast cancer. The mobile unit will be located in Rider Boulevard, outside Rhodes Shopping Centre from Monday 30 October to Friday 8th of December 2023.
This mobile unit is equipped with state-of-the art digital technology in a spacious and modern environment.
The two biggest risk factors for developing breast cancer are being a woman and being over 50 years of age. BreastScreen specifically invites women aged 50 to 74 years as this age group benefits most from the program. Free screening is also available to women aged 40 to 49 and over 74 years on request.
The service is open from 8.45am to 4.10pm Monday to Friday (closed for lunch from 12.00pm to 1.00pm).
